I am very pleased to announce that a UK manufacturer of high quality waterproof textile clothing has decided to join the bikeswoop community. These are VERY competitively priced for the level of quality. One could almost say they are a complete steal at the prices they will be listed at.
layer8 is a new brand that has received good feedback, UK based and has entered the market at an excellent price point. They have opened their own shop on Bikeswoop.com and we very much look forward to seeing their offerings on the site.
We expect they will be listing their clothing range over the coming days, so watch this space and watch the site.
On behalf of all the bikeswoop team,
welcome layer8!

Moto-one
Moto- one is the first shop on Bikeswoop and it's run by us. We have some amazing kit to enhance the aewsomeness field that surrounds your bike.
We can enhance the awsomeness of your bike with race quality air filters from MWR & K&N, these puppies are like yoga for your bike, helping it to breather deeper and longer even when under heavy exercise.
We have clutch kits and High Compression piston kits from EVR racing and Pistal Pistoni for Ducatis (ever heard of the big bang theory?), carbon fibre airboxes to get more bang for your buck and lose some of those extra lbs we all worry about, Dynojet power commanders and Ducati Eproms to make the bang that you got for your buck even bigger.
We have blueflame, Mivv and Zard exhausts for you because as we all know, "it's better out than in".
We have Bonamici rearsets so you can sit and bask in the awesomeness of your machine as you pass goggle eyed, slack-jawed onlookers in the streets. You will hear them cry "Did you see that bike? it was AWESOME" as they are engulfed by the epic, biblical awesomeness field created by your amazing 2 wheeled wonder.
Pazzo levers attached to your HEL brake and clutch lines,EVR clutch and Alth brake discs will all help control the beast and slow you down enough to be seen, is it a bird? is it a plane? no it's you on your marvellous steed of mythical proportions! and NONE of it has incurred any P+P costs at all!!
Mothers will sigh, riders will cry. This is the stuff of legend!
(too much?)
Come visit the website to see what we currently have. We are adding products fairly often so check back frequently.
Dealers we want you to open a shop with us, the more of us there are in one place selling a huge range of products the more people will come to know us as THE place to enhance their awesomeness field.

Bikeswoop.com is GO!
Bikeswoop.com is open for business! It has been a long road, but we are there. The technology is tested, installed and it works - importantly it is unique to us.
We have the first shop online with an ever growing number of products and some fantastic deals.
We know we have a big communications job ahead of us now, explaining to other shops why they should open a site on bikeswoop.com. Here's a quick outline of what's in it for you:
We are trying to be successful by offering a genuinely better way of doing things, not by milking our customers or the end user. The thinking is that if we have a lot of people with us selling a lot of stuff and offering great deals, and we are making a tiny bit on each sale, then that's fine for everyone and a recipe for growth in an ethical, legitimate and healthy way.
If you're work is only tangenitally related to bikes, but of interest to bikers we are probably very interested in getting you setup with a bikeswoop shop, so get in touch. Examples are: Photographers selling bike prints, clothes designers with bike related motifs, ceramics companies selling bike related mugs and things, and probably hundreds of things I haven't thought of. Get in touch, we'll chat and/or can send you some literature.
* Possible exception: if you make a unique niche product, and you are a one person concern then we would like to talk to you.

We know we have a big communications job ahead of us now, explaining to other shops why they should open a site on bikeswoop.com. Here's a quick outline of what's in it for you:
- It's free to join and setup your shop. We'll even help you do it.
- We don't discuss your business elsewhere or sell your details.
- It is free to list items. It costs £1.50 per sale, and the more you sell, the less it costs.
- Bonafide businesses only, no one man and his dog operations* selling dodgy imports from his bedroom.
- It isn't exclusive. You can still use your own site, ebay or whatever it is you do. We are here to help, not hinder.

Classifieds
Bikeswoop.com has a little sister, bikeswoopclassifieds.co.uk.
This site is to allow private sellers and small dealers to sell their stuff by placing an advert online, with photos and text.
It's going to be cheap to use but right now, and until it develops a properly big userbase, is FREE.
So head on over to www.bikeswoopclassifieds.co.uk to sell that old exhaust can/seat/tank you've got lying around!

Silverstone MotoGP!
Well we were there! No Rossi, No British Riders in the top class and an easy win for Lorenzo. Slight disappointments really, it was an excellent weekend. The weather on the Friday and Saturday was not really suitable for camping, but we did anyway and were rewarded with an absolutely beautiful race day. It was really excellent to see de Puniet and Spies do so well, and Bradley Smith was really on it. For me, I think the ACU Supermoto Cup was probably the highlight, proper mental those boys.
Silverstone is a wonderful track compared to Donington, whose facilities have been way, way below acceptable standards for some years. It was quite nice to be treated like paying customers rather than a rabble and lets hope they keep hold of it, they did a great job and deserve better attendance next year.

Testing testing ...
Just back from two weeks of design work and software testing in Sunny Silicon Valley on behalf of Bikeswoop's parent company and a client we have out there. Looking at a projector screen in a dark office 9 hours per day isn't great but the dubious joys of Javascript and Oracle were quite outshone by the early opportunity to get some decent sunshine and a few day trips to San Francisco. I totally love Northern California, I could do without Palo Alto, but the rest of it is wonderful.
I managed to get out on two wheels, sadly, no engine.
